The official website for Kyoto Animation’s Hibike! Euphonium/Sound! Euphonium anime series today announced that the highly anticipated TV anime second season is set to premiere in October 2016. The news was also revealed in the ending credit of Gekijou-ban Hibike! Euphonium ~Kitauji Koukou Suisougagubu he Youkoso (Movie: Sound! Euphonium ~Welcome to Kitauji High School’s Wind Ensemble Club), the compilation film of the first season released at 39 theaters in Japan today.
The first season of the TV anime adaptation of Ayano Takeda’s light novel series was aired for 13 episodes from April to June 2015.
