Donald Trump plans to focus on New York in the general election, hoping he can turn the state red for the first time in 1984.
In fact, Trump recently hired a pollster, John McLaughlin, who will be completely focused on the Empire State, according to The New York Times.
Winning New York will be difficult for Trump, but he is convinced he can emerge victorious in his home state and appeal to blue-collar workers. In the New York Republican primary, Trump scored a decisive victory over his rivals, capturing 60% of the vote.
